Sky is bringing back its iconic Sky One channel, much to the delight of its viewers. The channel will be available to Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q subscribers, accessible via Channel 106. However, it's exclusive to the Sky Ultimate TV bundle, which starts at £22 per month, meaning those on the more affordable Sky TV Essentials package will miss out. This isn't the first time Sky One has graced our screens; it launched in 1989 with a bang, hosting popular shows like The Simpsons and the highly anticipated Friends reunion episode. But in 2021, it was retired and replaced with Sky Showcase. Now, it's making a comeback! Sky promises a mix of new and beloved shows, including The Dyers’ Caravan Park, Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted. Sky Glass, an all-in-one streaming solution, offers a seamless viewing experience with its 4K QLED panel, Dolby Atmos-certified soundbar, hands-free voice controls, and Wi-Fi connectivity, eliminating the need for satellite dishes. The channel will launch on February 24, 2026, and will also host Saturday Night Live UK, an exclusive sketch show. Sky One joins the Sky family, including Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky Witness, Sky Crime, Sky Nature, and Sky Documentaries. To accommodate the new channel, some channel numbers will change for Sky Q and newer devices, ensuring a smooth transition for all viewers. But that's not all!
